Hello there, This is Abhik Sil writing here in response to the ‘developer response’ by OYO on google play store. I have faced troubles in booking and cancellation related issues. Here I am summarizing the situation.
After I booked a hotel via OYO booking app which was confirmed, Oyo changed the hotel to different ones 2-3times, so I had to cancel it, because the locations of the new hotels were very inconvenient for me. I cancelled within the time period when the charges were supposed to be 100% refundable but wasn’t refunded. I tried to communicate with Oyo on PC through Oyo website, but all the time it said “captcha verification failed” although I was entering by myself and it was not a robot. On Oyo Android app there’s no option in the algorithm where I could choose the scenario. When I called, it mentioned (a robotic voice/ pre-recorded voice) about a successful previous refund and cut the call.
Now I just want to know the reason why the amount is not refundable. There may be a point in the cancellation policy which I have missed out. But communication between the company and the customer could be better, so that I can understand the real reason behind the situation.
